Rise of the Dead is a horror shooter where you face waves of zombies from all sides as you progress through missions with specific objectives in a city that has completely collapsed after the outbreak of an apocalypse whose cause you must uncover. Survival depends as much on your aim as on your upgrade decisions: you can buy new weapons, level up your equipment, and hone your skills to withstand increasingly numerous and aggressive enemies for longer.
